Your rights and responsibilities

We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone who attends the surgery and abuses staff or other patients is verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases, we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.

We would therefore respectfully ask that you:

  • Treat staff with courtesy and respect
  • Reception staff may have to ask you some personal details to assist us in providing you with the best service. If you don’t wish to speak in the open reception, we can provide a private room on request
  • Inform the practice staff of any alterations in your circumstances, such as change of surname, address or telephone number by completing our online form. Please ensure that we have your correct telephone number, even if it is ex-directory
